If the Company Portal app is open but no apps are available or the list is empty, follow these steps.
Symptoms
- No apps appear in Company Portal
- The "Apps" section is empty
- Available apps are missing
- You cannot install any applications
Common Causes
- The device has not fully synced with company systems
- Your device is not fully registered or compliant
- A recent change has not applied yet
- Temporary sync or connection issue
Step-by-Step Fix
Try this first
- Close the Company Portal app
- Restart your computer
- Open Company Portal and try again
Check your connection
- Make sure you are connected to the internet
- Try opening a website (for example, https://google.com)
Force a sync in Company Portal
- Open the Company Portal app
- Click Settings (bottom left)
- Click Sync
- Wait for the sync to complete
- Click Apps and check if apps appear
Check device status
- In Company Portal, click Devices
- Select your device
- Check the device status
- Make sure the device shows as Compliant or Active
If your device does NOT show as Compliant or Active, follow this article: Device Not Compliant (Company Portal)
Sign out and back in
- Open Company Portal
- Sign out of the app
- Close Company Portal
- Reopen Company Portal
- Sign in again with your work account
If That Doesn't Work
- Wait 10-15 minutes and try again (some updates take time to apply)
- Restart your computer and try again
Contact IT
Contact IT if:
- No apps appear after completing the steps above
- Your device shows as not compliant or not registered
- The Company Portal app will not open
