Symptoms
- Your device shows as “Not Compliant”
- You cannot access company apps or resources
- You receive a message requiring action on your device
- Applications fail to install
Common Causes
- Required security settings are not enabled
- The device has not synced recently
- A required update has not been installed
- Your device is not fully configured for company access
Step-by-Step Fix
Try this first
- Restart your computer
- Open the Company Portal app
Check your connection
- Make sure you are connected to the internet
- Try opening a website (for example, https://google.com)
View Non-Compliance Reason
- Open the Company Portal app
- Click Devices
- Select your device
- Review the compliance status
- Follow any listed recommendations and actions
Sync your device
- In Company Portal, click Settings
- Click Sync
- Wait for the sync to complete
- Recheck your device status
Check for Required Updates
- Open Settings
- Go to Windows Update
- Install any available updates
- Restart your computer if prompted
If That Doesn't Work
- Wait 10-15 minutes and check again
- Restart your computer and attempt to sync again
